New Blanca Blue Dinner Menu, Beach Bicycle Tour, & Relaxing Spa Treatments

Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta   New Dinner Menu Concept at Blanca Blue   Blanca Blue Restaurant at Garza Blanca in Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos, has recently introduced a new dinner menu concept. We are very excited to share with members that this new menu is brimming with chef artistry and strikes a balance of flavor, innovation, and tradition. It is a menu with a unique concept featuring six distinct categories including: Appetizers, Signature Soups, Pre-Hispanic Traditions, Market Food, Grandmother’s Traditions and Specialties.   The dishes are typically Mexican with some American and international favorites and also a fusion of different cuisines such as duck with mole sauce. The chefs were allowed to get creative with the menu and it was a collaboration between all our chefs. They came up with the concept of dividing the menu into different categories based on feedback from our guests. The result is a truly sensational menu that has every option to satisfy your hunger depending what you are in the mood for.   If you feel like tasting market food, there is a category specifically for that, so rather than venturing out of the resort you can try a taste of Mexican street food …

Spooky Trolly/Beware of The Dead/MLB

Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa    Halloween  Every year on October 31st, Garza Blanca celebrates Halloween with its spectacular Spooky Trolley, and this year is no exception! Ghosts, goblins, and other spirits from the underworld will gather at Garza Blanca Preserve and transform it, for one night only, into a ‘scary hotel.’  Our famous trolly, resembling a 1930s streetcar, that transports guests daily around Garza Blanca and Hotel Mousai, will be turned into a trolly of terror!  Guests will be summoned to the Garza Blanca Lobby where they will board the   Spooky Trolly and prepare for a frightening experience.  Be warned that zombies, the Grim Reaper, and the Exorcist as well as Mexican Legends, Charro Negro and La Llorona, may climb onto the Trolly to lunge at you and your loved ones turning our beautiful Preserve into a terrifying atmosphere. You may be gripped by fear as Zombies grab your ankles or Charro Negro jumps out at you. You will gasp and shriek as we collide with the dead while eerie music plays in the background. You may get spooked and you may get chills, as you encounter these frightening and mysterious creatures. However, it will be a memorable event that is suitable for the whole family.   We don’t have schedules yet, but the Trolley usually departs at dusk.  Day of the Dead  Every …

My TAFER Backpack

Being an outstanding student is not easy and requires a lot of effort, discipline and dedication. For this reason, for the past 3 years TAFER Hotels & Resorts has recognized the children of staff members who have an average above 8.7.  The school system in Mexico works slightly differently than in the United States or Canada. Whereas in the US and Canada an A+ grade is the highest and an F grade is the poorest, in Mexico they use a number system for grading. One is the lowest grade and 10 is the highest. Students must get at least a 6 to pass the subject.   Also in the US, schools are typically divided into three levels: elementary (grades K to 5), middle (grades 6 to 8) and high (grades 9 to 12). In Mexico, schools are also divided into three levels, but they work slightly differently too. Here there is primary (grades 1 to 6), secondary (grades 1 to 3) and baccalaureate (grades 1 to 3). The grades start at 1 again at each new school.   For the top performing children of the staff, who have worked for TAFER Hotels & Resorts for at least a year, they are rewarded with a special kit including a backpack with our company logo, …
