What does “Member Time” mean at Club Caribe?

If you hear or read the term “Member Time” in relation to your Club Caribe membership, then it simply means the time you can spend at one of the resorts offered by your membership, which includes destinations such as Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit, Cabo San Lucas and the Islands of Loreto. The amount of member time you can enjoy each year is directly related to the number of flexible club points you purchased when you first became a Club Caribe member.

One of the perks of Club Caribe membership is enjoying the flexibility to use your Member Time / Club Points as you desire.  When you signed your contract, you purchased a certain number of Club Points valid for use in one or more of the suites at Villa del Palmar Cancun or any of the affiliated resorts. Each day or week at a Club Caribe resort is worth a certain amount of Club Points.

When building the vacation of your dreams, you have the flexibility of using the Club Points in your account to use suites for a shortened or extended length of time, as well as the option to upgrade to a larger suite to accommodate more people. This flexibility is one of the advantages of being a Club Caribe Member. You can also use points to pay for services (see FAQ: What is the Club Caribe Points Redemption Program).

In need of more Member Time?  

As part of your Club Caribe contract, you have the option of borrowing or accelerating Club Points from the future in order to create your ideal vacation in the present. This option involves using up to 50% of your point allotment for the next calendar year and using it to extend your current vacation or to upgrade to a larger suite etc. If a member chooses to do so, you may also rent or purchase additional points at a cost determined by the Club Manager (certain restrictions apply, please see your Club Caribe contract).
