Standardization of Discounts

Owning a membership is your ticket to vacationing better and you can choose the vacation option that works best for you. As a valued member of the Club Caribe family, you can expect to enjoy numerous benefits of your home away from home in any of our fabulous destinations, including Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit, Los Cabos, the Islands of Loreto and the Sierra Madre. Through your support and loyalty, you have earned the right to special treatment including discounts and benefits.  

Previously, there was some confusion about discounts, as some of the resorts were handling the program differently in each region. To make things easier, we have worked with all destinations to standardize and clarify the discounts and now members will get the same great benefits no matter where they choose to stay! Make sure you take advantage of the member discounts you are entitled to.  All resorts will offer three different types of cards: 

  • Gold Card: All regular Gold Members will receive a 10 per cent discount on Food & Beverage outlets, Palmita Market, Spa Services and Activities/Tours through Travel Agencies. Members are not required to attend a sales presentation and can request their gold card upon check-in.  

*Please note: the discount on food and beverage is not applicable to all inclusive plan guests. No other promotions can be combined and are not applicable when a member is using the Gold card. 

  • Elite Card: All 4-Star, 5-Star and Residence Club Elite members will receive a 15 per cent discount on Food & Beverage outlets, Palmita Market, Spa Services and Activities/Tours through Travel Agencies. Members are not required to attend a sales presentation or attend a 6-month renewal presentation and will receive a personalized Elite card upon check-in to keep for use each vacation.

  • VIP Card: Members will receive a VIP card after attending a sales presentation. Gold Members who attend the presentation will receive a VIP card entitling them to receive discounts over and above the 10 per cent and other special offers. Elite Members who attend the presentation will receive discounts over and above the 15 per cent and other special offers. The offers will vary and be set by each region. 

*Please note: Restrictions may apply to discounts offered on specific activities. 

In order to take advantage of all the benefits, members must make a reservation using their membership. The standardized discounts are not applicable to reservations made through third party agencies (such as via Airbnb, an exchange, or third-party rental company).  

Members, and particularly Elite members, should note that when traveling to the resorts on a non-membership reservation, they are eligible to receive non-cost member benefits applicable to their membership type only when available (ex. room assignments, Elite towels/pool access, and free internet.) Elite Benefits such as resort credit, transportation credit, or Dining with the Chef, would not apply.
