2018 Will See Construction Begin in Riviera

One of the most thrilling recent announcements for our members is the future Garza Blanca Riviera Maya which is to be built on a prime strip of beachfront land overlooking the Mexican Caribbean between Playa del Carmen and Cancun in Quintana Roo state. This new property is in the final planning stages and is set to break ground during the latter part of 2018.

Ecologically sound development

Building a five star resort in the Riviera Maya requires that extensive measures are met to protect the environment, including building permits and strict regulations.  All new development in the area, especially so close to the Caribbean Sea, is held to extremely high standards to ensure that plans are ecologically sound.  Garza Blanca’s environmentally conscious core values mean that the group are embracing this challenge with innovative design and careful planning with an eye on preserving the natural surrounding habitat.

A beautiful design

As for the current status of Garza Blanca Riviera Maya, the architecture and design team have been working hard on the planning and design with construction beginning towards the end of 2018.  Take a look at this detailed video, complete with architectural renderings, of what you can expect at Garza Blanca Riviera Maya in the near future.

Location

Garza Blanca Resort & Spa in the Riviera Maya will be situated on stunning beachfront property near some of the area’s most elite hotels only 10 minutes from Playa del Carmen and roughly 30 minutes from Cancun International Airport.  This convenient location makes it easy for members staying here to tour local towns such as Playa del Carmen and Puerto Morelos while still being close to other points of interest including Cozumel Island and the Mayan ruins at the Tulum archaeological site.  With Cancun just half an hour away, you can also enjoy several fantastic activities and tours such as swimming with dolphins, exploring local cenotes, cruising on the Jolly Roger Pirate Ship, ATV tours, swimming with whale sharks and so much more!
