October Wellness 2019

Your health and well-being are important to us at Villa del Palmar Cancún and that is why every year we devote the month of October to wellness activities. This is the fifth year in a row that we are promoting healthy lifestyles and our new spa manager, Giselle Sedinger, has been busy putting together an extensive schedule of activities to help you get and stay fit.  

Whether you want to continue your training or start to actively pursue a lifestyle change, we are offering a comprehensive selection of daily activities that we hope will inspire you to take the steps towards creating lasting positive change. The weekly programs that run during the whole month of October include yoga, zumba, aqua zumba, barre (a combination of ballet, yoga and pilates), aerobics, Tabata training (high intensity interval training), boot camp, and stretching. We are also incorporating a series of special activities including healing, meditation and detoxification rituals taught by Village Spa and its staff at no additional cost. Yoga and stretching wellness activities will be hosted by our in-house professional yoga instructors and will feature special guest instructors as well.

Oscar Resendiz – Yoga Instructor at Villa del Palmar Cancún 

Oscar has been our in-house instructor at Villa del Palmar Cancún since October 2018 and is devoted to providing incredible relaxation experiences for our guests.

Lina Muñoz – Yoga Instructor at Villa del Palmar Cancún 

 

Lina is a certified Thai Massage Instructor, specialized in Meditation, Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga.  

 

 

 

Kim McMurren – Fitness Instructor 

 

Kim is a professional and certified personal trainer through FiTour, an expert in Boot Camp training and also a certified group exercise instructor (AFAA). 

 

 

 

 Salila Thuy – Nurse & Yoga Instructor 

 

Salila is a yoga trainer, certified by Yoga Journey in Boca del Raton, Florida, and she will give you practical advice that will help you stay fit. 

 

 

 

Bonnie Ringer – Yoga Instructor 

Bonnie

 

Bonnie Ringer is an experienced practitioner of Yoga and Healing Art Therapy, and she started the Bonnie Shala Yoga Studio in New York. 

 

 

 

Naya Rappaport – Photographer, Yoga Teacher and Social Media Personality 

 

Naya is a social media influencer and a renowned fitness instructor from the Dominican Republic.  Since 2016, Naya has been a guest instructor at Villa del Palmar Cancún during the October Wellness Event.
