It has been a few weeks since I last communicated about the steps that Tafer Hotels & Resorts has taken to protect its guests, members and staff from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Since then, we have all been adapting to a new way of life and have had to get used to social distancing and staying at home. There is so much that seems out of our control right now. What we are all going through is daunting, but I remain optimistic that our world will soon go back to normal.
Today, I want to let you know of our plans to reopen our resorts in May and June, subject to travel advisories, as follows:
- Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta: Open with full services from May 15th
- Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta: Open with full services from May 20th
- Villa del Palmar Cancun: Open with full services from May 31st
- Sierra Lago: Open with full services from May 18th
- Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Los Cabos: Open with full services from June 20th

We remain committed to offering travel flexibility during the COVID-19 pandemic. For our members, you can feel confident to book your future travel now with the added flexibility that you can change your reservation up to 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival, without penalty. Just keep in mind that rate differences may apply depending on your travel dates.
We know that it has been hard not traveling, since travel has become an important part of our lifestyles. We are eager for you to return to our resorts, just as much as you are. You are very important to us.
We will be implementing some changes in areas such as hygiene practices, ongoing sanitation, and housekeeping protocols. We are defining and implementing positive changes around our resorts so that after this crisis is over, the result will be an even better experience for our members, for you.

We have received so many heartfelt messages from our valued members saying how much they miss our resorts and our staff. Receiving these messages has been truly uplifting. Rest assured that we are here for you and we are all counting down the days until we see each other again.
