In our past newsletter, we talked about Lemuria Residences presales starting in December. They will be the next residential condominiums to be developed as part of the Garza Blanca South Master Plan, which comprises a development of 1,927 acres, of which only 8% will be developed, divided into two phases.
The first phase of the development will be called “Garza Blanca South” comprised of 1,048 acres, of which only 79 acres will be urbanized; the remaining 969 acres will be preserved as an ecological reserve for hiking and exploration. The second phase, which runs along Los Arcos will be called “Garza Blanca Los Arcos”, and will include the remaining 879 acres for a development that is currently in blueprints.
The Garza Blanca South Master Plan was designed by Gensler, a prestigious international architecture and urban planning firm, together with the efforts of our internal architecture and interior design department. It will take seven years to complete with a total investment of approximately $500 million USD.
The Master Plan consists of 1,328 keys between beach hotels Villas de Montaña, La Garzetta hotel, Echoes Hotel, a boutique hotel, 2 condominium developments, single-family residences, a 23,000 square-foot spa, a treehouse development, another boutique hotel with panoramic views of the mountains, and Tierraluna.
Construction of Tierraluna began 18 months ago and is scheduled for completion in April 2021. Tierraluna will be an outdoor shopping and entertainment park that includes several boutique artisan shops, 4 gourmet restaurants, a coffee shop, sundecks, natural river-fed pools, a carousel, spaces for yoga, a cultural forum, and an esplanade for art exhibitions and an organic products market. Visitors will enjoy walking through Tierraluna to shop, participate in cultural activities and workshops, visit its restaurants, or delight in sipping a beverage with friends or family while taking in the stunning surroundings.
The next development will be Lemuria Residences, a condo complex comprised of four buildings featuring luxury residences ranging from one to four bedrooms, overlooking the Banderas Bay as well as Los Arcos. Residents will enjoy panoramic views of the Bay and coastline and access to a range of amenities including: a main infinity pool and an adults only rooftop pool, three Jacuzzis, sundecks furnished with lounge chairs and outdoor beds, a beach club, a lobby with reception area, TV and games room, library, gym, organic vegetable garden for resident use, and more.
Lemuria Residences are family-friendly and are complemented by adult-exclusive facilities, including a Rooftop bar with a pool, which will be the highest in the bay.
We are truly convinced that the Garza Blanca Preserve development with its projects Garza Blanca South and Garza Blanca Los Arcos, will radically boost the southern region of Puerto Vallarta and generate an estimated 1,800 direct permanent jobs and 6,100 indirect ones.
